WELCOME TO WINTER IN PARRSBORO

The colourful days of autumn have now passed and we look forward to winter and the many opportunities for indoor and outdoor activities that the colder weather presents.  The artificial ice surface is in place at the Lions Arena where public skating, figure skating and organized hockey are ongoing.  Hopefully we will again have our own outdoor ice skating rink at the Town Hall civic grounds for the public to enjoy.  Snowmobiling, cross country skiing, snowshoeing and toboganning are also exciting pastimes.  Our Recreation Director is also busy with many indoor activities for all ages. 

Our well-lighted Main Street decorated with snowflakes and reindeer welcomes shoppers to our unique shops, restaurants and other attractions.  The Works Department does an exceptional job keeping our streets clear for easy access.  Take a drive and experience the beauty of surrounding rural landscapes and seascapes.  There is so much to see and do this time of year.
